Terms & Conditions

Last updated October 24, 2026

These terms govern every purchase from and visit to Torrey Labs. By using this site or placing an order you agree to them. In short: our products are research chemicals, they are not for human consumption, and all sales are final.

01Research chemicals — not for human consumption

Everything sold by Torrey Labs is a research chemical, supplied for in-vitro and laboratory research use only. Products are not drugs, dietary supplements, foods, cosmetics or medical devices. They have not been evaluated or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Products are not for human consumption and not for veterinary use. They must not be injected, ingested, inhaled, applied to the body or otherwise administered to any human or animal. Nothing on this site, in our documentation, in our calculators or in any communication from us is medical advice, a dosing recommendation or a claim that any product diagnoses, treats, cures or prevents any condition.

By placing an order you confirm that you are a qualified professional or researcher, that you will use the product only for lawful laboratory research, and that you accept sole responsibility for handling, storage and use.

02All sales are final

All sales are final. We do not accept returns and we do not issue refunds, exchanges or store credit once an order has been placed and paid for. Because these are sensitive, temperature-controlled research materials, we cannot restock or resell a product once it has left our control.

Please check the product, strength, quantity, shipping address and fulfillment method carefully before you place an order. Contacting your card issuer to dispute a charge for a completed order does not change the fact that the sale is final, and we reserve the right to provide the order, delivery and account records to the payment processor in response to a dispute.

Nothing in this section limits any right you have under applicable law that cannot be waived.

03Who can order

  • Anyone who meets the eligibility requirements below may order. No invitation or access code is needed: checkout creates your account from the email address you order with.
  • You must be at least 21 years old and be buying on behalf of yourself as a qualified professional or researcher, or on behalf of an organization you are authorized to bind.
  • The account code we email you after your first order is personal to your account. Do not share or resell it. We may suspend or revoke any account or code at any time, including for suspected misuse.
  • You agree to provide accurate information when you apply, register and order.

04Orders, pricing and payment

  • Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and are public. Prices, discounts and availability can change without notice.
  • An order is not accepted until payment is complete. We may cancel or refuse any order, for example where a product is out of stock, a price is shown in error, or we suspect fraud or misuse. If we cancel an order we have accepted and you have paid, we will refund that payment in full.
  • Payments are processed by our payment processor. We do not see or store your full card number.
  • Discount codes apply to the item price only, never to shipping, and can be changed or withdrawn at any time.
  • You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties or customs charges.

05Autoship

  • Autoship is optional and only starts if you tick it at checkout. It repeats the same items every 30, 60 or 90 days, as you choose, and takes 10% off the item price of each autoship order. It does not combine with another discount: if a bigger discount applies to an order, that one is used instead.
  • By turning on autoship you authorize us to charge the card you paid with, on that schedule, for the same items at the price shown on the day of each repeat (less the autoship discount), plus the same shipping method's price. We email a receipt for every charge.
  • You can cancel, skip the next order or change the schedule at any time on your account page, with no fee. A cancellation stops every later charge; an order already charged is final under the section above.
  • If an item is out of stock on a repeat date it is left out of that order. If a repeat charge is declined, nothing ships and the autoship pauses until you start it again.
  • Member perks (currently a new-customer discount with Goodlabs, an independent lab-testing company) are available while you have an active autoship and can change or end at any time. Goodlabs' own terms apply to anything you buy from Goodlabs.

06Shipping and delivery

Shipping methods and prices are shown at checkout. Estimated delivery times are estimates, not guarantees, and carrier delays are outside our control. Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier or, for local delivery and pickup, you or your representative takes possession of the order.

You are responsible for providing a correct, staffed delivery address and for receiving and storing the shipment promptly, following the storage instructions on the label. We are not responsible for products degraded by delay, heat or improper storage after delivery.

07Certificates of analysis and product information

We publish laboratory certificates of analysis (CoAs) for our lots, naming the testing lab on each. A CoA describes the sample tested from a specific lot on a specific date and relates only to that lot. Product descriptions, educational content and the reconstitution calculator are provided for general laboratory information only.

We work to keep product information accurate, but we do not warrant that descriptions, images, strengths or other content are complete or error-free.

08Legal compliance

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your purchase, possession and use of our products comply with all federal, state and local laws and with any institutional requirements that apply to you. You must not resell, export or divert products in violation of law.

09Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, products and this website are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We make no representation that any product is suitable for any particular research purpose.

10Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Torrey Labs and its owners, employees and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data or research, arising out of or relating to the products or this website. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

11Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Torrey Labs harmless from any claim, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use, handling, resale or misuse of a product, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law.

12Website use and intellectual property

The site, its text, images and design belong to Torrey Labs or its licensors. You may not scrape the site, attempt to bypass its access controls, probe it for vulnerabilities, or use it in any way that interferes with its operation.

13Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

14Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted here when you place an order is the version that applies to that order. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
